This week’s tip is about how to split one column into two. You may want to sort a spreadsheet by Last Name but only have a Full Name column of data. In order to split it you’ll need to insert a column to the right (Shortcut ALT + I, C) and then split the data so the surname goes over into your new empty column. Don’t forget to label up your new column heading! I’ll show you how in this short ‘How to’ video.
